Privacy Policy for PilotMe

1. Who we are
PilotMe (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides a productivity assistant for Windows.

2. Data we handle
We handle only the data needed to provide and maintain the app:
- App diagnostics: basic diagnostic events (for example, crash reports and error logs) needed to run, maintain, and improve the app.
- User input: text and/or voice input you provide to PilotMe to fulfill your requests.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use third-party ad tracking.
3. Privacy toggle
PilotMe includes an in-app Privacy toggle:
- Privacy ON (recommended): processing stays on your device and we do not send your content to our servers, except for minimal OS/network requirements needed for connectivity.
- Privacy OFF: requests may be sent to our servers to enable cloud features. Your content is transmitted encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) and is not retained beyond what is necessary to respond, unless you explicitly choose to save/sync, or limited retention is required for abuse prevention, security, or legal compliance.
4. What we do not collect
- No screenshots or screen capture. PilotMe does not take screenshots when Privacy is ON or OFF.
- No background recording.
- No collection of contacts, photos, or location unless you actively provide them as input.
- No profiling for advertising.
5. Storage and retention
- By default: session data stays on your device.
- If cloud processing is used (Privacy OFF): transient processing logs are minimized and disposed after processing, unless limited retention is required for abuse prevention, security, or legal compliance.
6. Security
- Data in transit is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
- Access to service logs (if any) is restricted to authorized personnel for support and security purposes.
7. Your choices
- Use the in-app Privacy toggle to control on-device vs cloud processing.
- You may clear local data via the app (if available) or by uninstalling.
- If account-based features are added later, we will provide access and deletion options consistent with applicable law.
8. Children
PilotMe is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly
collect personal data from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app and/or on
our website before they take effect.
